February Mom of the Month!

Our Mom of the Month is one dedicated momma to fitness! She always puts forth all of her sweat and effort into all of our workouts. She is building up her running to run a 1/2 marathon! She is a loving mommy to her two little one's and I can always count on seeing the three of them in class. Enjoy learning more about Tammie and her family!

Education: Some college course in nursing (30 credits)

Members of your Family: Travis (husband), Kylie (2), Tyler (1)



When did you meet your significant other: While in the Army I was sent to the border to assist the BP and met Travis Calexico station



Tell us about your child: Kylie is amazing, she is at such a fun age and has a great imagination. Tyler is full of energy and has a ton of personality



Current/previous Career: Military Police Officer in the Army



What was your childhood ambition? To become a lawyer until I took a law class in high school and it was boring 


What does motherhood mean to you? To be a teacher and roll model to them for life



What has Stroller Strides meant to you? A supportive group of women that puts fitness as a priority in life



What is your favorite type of exercise (cardio or strength toning)? Cardio


What is your proudest moment? When Kylie first potty trained herself, what an accomplishment!



What are three of your favorite things (besides your family!)? Reading, shopping and running



Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us or makes you unique. My husband is 16 years older than I am



If we asked your spouse what they think your best qualities are, what would they say? Punctual, strong and organized



What advice would you give to moms looking to get back into shape? It’s hard at first buy you will be thankful you started again. Don’t give up and you can do anything you put your mind to.

Valentines Day Memories with our littles
